This Richard Cole Esquire was of Buckish in the
parish of Walfordsworth in the County of Devon
where he died and lyeth buried in the North Isle of
the Church there. By his last will & Testam't in
writeing Dat. 7 Janu. 1612, and prooued 13 July 1614.
He devised all his LordshipDS, Mannors Lands and
Tenements &c. in the Counties of Devon and Cornwall
vnto Captaine John Cole of London gent, and -to the
heires males of his body, and for want of such ishue
male, he devised ye same in like manner to Gregory
Cole of the Midle Temple London Esquire, and for
want of such ishue male in like manner devised his
said lands &c. to Robert Cole of London gent, the
Remainder to his owne right heires. Shortly after
the said Captaine John Cole died without ishue male,
and the said Gregory Cole (who is menco'ed in this
Pedigree) him succeeded, and is now ao 1630.
