Over the wires and through the air goes the story of progress and rejoicing. June 9, 1922 The New Day for Baldwin-Wallace has achieved $ 1 , 117 , 678.35 The time is extended for procuring the remainder. "All or none” subscribers will be asked to waive conditions. The million for endowment has been pledged. The quest for funds for the promised buildings and betterments will go for- ward continuously and aggressively until completed. The Jubilate that resounds in thousands of hearts tonight is earnest of a loyal belief in Baldwin-Wallace that promises much for its future service. To every man, every woman, every child who pledged sums great or small; to everyone who sacrificed; to all who worked long, wearisome hours; to those who prayed; to the ones who carried the heaviest responsibilities; to the church, its bishops, superintendents, pastors and people, be gratitude and thanksgiving. To God Almighty, who alone giveth victory, be our unfailing and eternal praise.
