 ORDER AMENDING REGULATIONS RELATING TO MEAT 
 
 INSPECTION 
 
 Pursuant to the authority conferred upon the Secretary of Agriculture by 
 the act of Congress approved March 4. 1907. as amended and extended (34 Stat. 
 1260; 21 U. S. C. 1940 ed. 71-5 5). the act of Congress approved July 24, 1919 
 (41 Stat. 234; 21 U. S. C. 1940 ed. 90). See. 306 of the act of Congress approved 
 June 17. 1930 i 40 Stat. 590; 19 U. S. C. 1940 ed. 1306), the act of Congress ap- 
 proved June 10, 1942 (Public Law 0)2. 77th Cong., 2d Sess. ), and Executi e 
 Order No. 9280, dated Dec. 5, 1912 (7 F. R. 10179), title 9, Chapter I, Subchapter 
 A. Code of Federal Regulations LB. A. I. Order 211. Revised], as amended, is 
 hereby further amended, effective immediately, as follows: 
 
 (1) By striking out subsection (e) of section 1.1 [Reg. 1. sec. 1, par. 5] 
 and inserting, in lieu thereof, the following : 
 
 ie) Administration: The Food Distribution Administration, United States 
 Department of Agriculture. 
 
 (2) By adding, at the end of section 1.1 [Reg. 1. sec. 1], the following: 
 ice) Director: The Director of Food Distribution, United States Depart- 
 ment of Agriculture, or any employee of the United States Department of Agri- 
 culture designated by such Director. 
 
 (3) By striking out the terms "bureau" and -Bureau of Animal Industry" 
 wherever they appear in said Subchapter A, as amended, and inserting the word 
 "administration" in lieu thereof. 
 
 (4) By striking out the terms "chief of bureau" and "Chief of the Bureau of 
 Animal Industry" wherever they appear in said Subchapter A, as amended, and 
 inserting the word "Director" in lieu thereof.
