Under authority of Act No. 3027 of the Republic of the Philippines^ entitled "An A.ct to Protect vb.e Agricultural Industries of the Philippine Islands from Injurious Plant Pests and Diseases existing in Foreign Countries^ etc « /' which aubhority is now vested in the Director of Plant Industry and the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources by virtue of Act No. 3639^ regulations governing the importation and exportation of plant materials have been issued. The regulations were drawn up by the Director ^ January 2^ 19^-8 and approved by the Secretary on January 2^^ 19^8^ to be effective on that date, as Administrative Order No. 2^ which was amended April 29^ 19^8 in reference to the scl:].edule of fees. TMs Ad-!Tj.inistrative Order is almost identical with No, 10 approved April 25^ 1932 which appears on pages 2 •- 6 of 3-3,P.Qo 363 issued May 1, 193^1- c In Art. 2 read Director of Plant Industry instead of "Director of Agriculture'' . In Art, 15 "Authorized Ports of Entry" add the following three ports; Aparri, Jose Pa.nganiban and Tacloban.
