Settlement must be made within thirty days from date of shipment, otherwise subject to sight draft.IN presenting this Catalogue, containing the latest styles of Mantels, it is not designed to confine purchasers to the sizes of the Mantel, or the opening for the Grate (which is printed on the following pages). Mantels may be ordered of any width to fit any ordinary’ chimney, and opening to fit any Grate desired. Unless colors are specified, Mantels will be sent as described herein.

196700DIRECTIONS FOR SETTING UP MANTELS.
Ist. Place the large sides, or fronts, in their place upon the hearth or floor.
2d. Place the wall plates or straight pieces against the wall or partition, in back of the sides or fronts, with their outside edges the same distance apart that the shelf is long, — the projection of each wall plate from the side being the same.
3d. Fasten the sides or fronts to the wall or partition by means of wires or hooks placed in the holes in the top of the fronts, secured by calcined plaster.
4th. Secure the centre, if there is one, to the front by means of the bolt through a piece of board placed on the inside of the front
5th. Place the circles on the inside of the opening, and fasten them with sticks until permanently secured with calcined plaster.
6th. Put on the shelf with a little calcined plaster.
7th. In washing the mantels use soft sponge and cold water, and dry with n chamois skin.
