COLLIER & SON 416-424 WEST THIRTEENTH STREET NEW YORKThe Collier Artist Proofs THERE has grown up a tremendous demand for fine artist proofs of the paintings and drawings of those artists who are now working for Collier’s. Indeed, this demand has grown to such proportions that it has been found necessary to organize and maintain a large department to handle it. In addition to the work of Smedley, Penfield, J. C. Leyendecker, Hutt, Helleu, Schneider, Pyle, and others, the line includes reproductions from the original paintings and drawings of those artists who are now under contract to draw only for Collier’s — Charles Dana Gibson Frederic Remington A. B. Frost F. X. Leyendecker Walter Appleton Clark Jessie Willcox Smith E. W. kcmhlc Maxfield Parrish To draw “exclusively for Collier’s” means to an artist the opportunity to do less work and better work, to have a freer hand and a more important subject. Under the terms of our contracts it is, of course, impossible to obtain the recent and best work of our artists from any other [1]source. New proofs are constantly being added. The range of price and the variety of subject are sufficient to meet every demand. The proofs are printed from the very finest plates. The Gibson subjects are reproduced on real Shidzouka vellum, the finest art paper imported from Japan. Other subjects are printed on the highest grade plate paper. Proofs are mounted on the best water-color sketching bristol to be obtained. The peculiar suitability and appropriateness of these artist proofs for decorating the home, the schoolroom, the office, and the club have been quickly recognized. These superb artist proofs may be purchased at the leading art stores in this country. Where they are not readily obtainable in this way, tor any reason, orders will be filled direct by the publishers. Orders should be addressed to the Proof Department, P. F. Collier & Son, 416 West 13th Street, New York. All proofs are ready for framing, and will be sent charges prepaid. Remittances in the form of money-order, check, or registered letter must accompany all orders, and should be made payable to P. F. Collier & Son.
