BRIDGHAM COUNSELLOR AND ATTORNEY AT LAW BANK BLOCK, BATH, MAINE November 16, 1926. Thayer Portable House Co. Keene, N. H. Attention of James Mugford, Manager. Gentlemen : Your favor of the 9th inst. at hand relative to the Thayer Ready Cut Peterboro cottage, which I purchased from you last summer, and in reply wish to state that the cottage is perfectly sati factory in every particular, and it was my intention next summer to send you a picture of the same. I found the material to be of excellent quality, and everything as rep esented, with the exception of six long braces which went over the top or stays that went over head in the cottage, as it may be very poss ble that there were only a certain number shipped, the others possibly may not be necessary. It is a pleasure to do business with a concern of your caliber, and if at any time you desire to use my name as a reference you have my authority to do so. With best wishes for your continued success, I beg to remain, Very truly yours, Edward W. Bridgham. Keene. N H , November 15. 192b. Thayer Portable. House Company, Keene, N. H. Gentlemen : In regard to the Ready Cut Three-car Garage, which you furnished me, would say that I am more than pleased with it and feel proud to show it to any one. It was also a pleasure to do business with y ou and am satisified that you gave me full value for the money. Yours very truly, Ernest E. Holton. Keene, N. H., November 13, 1926. I want to speak a word in favor of the Thayer Port¬ able House Company, as I had a Three.Car Ready Cut Garage put up by them this year. It is the best lookiug building on the street and is as good as it looks, admired by every one who passes. E. M. Wheeler. 54 Pine Street, Keene, N.H. LAMONTAGNE boot shop 21 PLEASANT STREET NORTHAMPTON, MASS. November ib,. 1926. Thayer Portable House Co. Keene, N. H. * My dear Mr. Mugford : Yours of November g, at hand and would say that the Ready Cut House bought from you this summer was very satisfactory for quality and that we have made a very good looking cottage from it. Hardware and fittings were all first class and we expect thB coming summer to get a great deal of comfort from this cottage. We made several ad¬ ditions to it, such as putting in two floors, adding back porch and these certain ly add both to its appearance and comfort. We haven’t taken pictures of it as yet and when we do in the spring I shall see that you get one of t them. One criticism I might make and that is of your method of marking, it is insufficient. Undoubtedly if your own men were putting these cottages together these markings would be sufficient but in our case we had some difficulty in getting the right parts in the right place. This in some measure may have been due to the fact that your truck¬ man in'throwing the bundles oft the trucks broke a great many of them. I would gladly recommend your Ready Cut Cottages and feel that we received very good value. I hope you mav get to Chesterfield, Mass, next summer to look the cot¬ tage over. Very truly yours, Elliott L. LaMontagne. Keene, N. H., November 11, 1926. Thayer Portable House Company'. Keene, New Hampshire. Gentlemen : This is to advise you that 1 have just completed the erection of the Boston Garage, 12 x 20 size, recently pur¬ chased from you. The building is entirely satisfactory in every way and was erected in accordance with your in¬ structions by unskilled labor without difficulty. I am considering the erection of a summer cottage sometime in the near future and sha 1 be glad to receive a copy'of your new catalog, which your Mr. Mugford advises will soon be off the press. Yours very truly, J. H. Jackson. THAYER?S PORTABLE BUILDINGS Portable Buildings are still in great demand for Summer Cottages, Garages, Schoolhouses, Overnight Camps and for other various uses.
