With a care- fully selected plant of the latest improved machinery and an expert force of skilled artisans, I have succeeded in placing Classic Carving within the reach of those who were heretofore deprived of it on account of its enormous cost. Price, however, is no longei the barrier, which you will readily see by looking over the Price List. W itli a very moderatesum you can beautify the owner’s home and add immensely to your own work. In addition to the large stock of these designs I am enabled to furnish special designs on short notice. All work that comes under the head of Carving in this Catalogue is true carving. Machines are used to do the rough cutting only, after which it is finished by r hand. Interior work is finished with artistic clean cut. Ex- terior work is finished with an effective rough cut. All exterior work is protected against ali kinds of weather by two coats of shellac and two coats of w hite lead, and made of selected pine and white wood. Embossed (flouldinejs- These mouldings are made bv the same processes as those of other makers who term them “ Carved Mouldings.” 1 he reader should bear in mind, however, in no instance are they carved, but are made by what is known as the pirogravure process. W e do ex- tensive business in this line of work on solid wood and veneers. Our long experience in hand -carving enables us to produce most perfect imitation of hand carved work.
