No. 247 Pulpit. No. 129 Stand. No. 68 Chair. s OME OF THE REASONS WHY WE MAKE MORE CHURCH FURNITURE THAN ANY ONE ELSE IN THE WORUD. We devote more attention to it. Our factories are equipped with the latest improved machinery, many machines having' been designed and made especially for our work. We have gathered in our shops a fine lot of experienced mechanics in every department of the business. We carry immense stocks of hardwood lumber, cut and seasoned in our own yards especially for this work. Our patrons are so well pleased that they always speak well of us. Our designs are original and fresh, not stolen copies of other people’s ideas. Our varied experience in furnishing so many thousands of churches is of great value, and used for the practical benefit of our patrons. We make all our Curved Circular Pews under Falhaber’s patent, so that our customers are safe from any possible future annoyance from infringement suits. We present a combination of advantages which are not found anywhere else. N. B.—Please read pages 22 and 23. GLOBE FURNITURE CO., Northville, Mich. F.S. There is such a variety of lengths, and so many peculiarities of shapes wanted to fit different churches, it is impos¬ sible to anticipate them all, and we urge our friends to give us their orders at as early a day as possible. We will furnish estimates on any style of Church Seat, but think that our own styles combine comfort, elegance and cheapness in a greater degree than can be found elsewhere. GLOBE FURNITURE COMPANY. GLOBE FURNITURE COMPANY, NORTHYILLE, MICH. There is no Question . . . . BUT THAT THE BEST METHOD OF SEATING A CHURCH AUDIENCE ROOM IS WITH PEWS SET IN Circular Lines. The only open question in the matter is how best to accomplish this result. The cut in this page shows a method of construction which is the result of years of painstaking. . Patented Nov. 24, 1885 The front section and the center or core are broken away “ Nov. 22, 1892. in the cut, showing in Fig. i a continuous layer of wood with the grain of the wood running lengthwise. Fig. 2 shows a portion of the core or center layer with the grain of the wood running crosswise and extending into the grooved top rail. Fig. 3 shows a portion of the front layer, which when complete ex¬ tends the entire length of the pew back with the grain of the wood running lengthwise. These three layers of wood are cemented together under pressure and in forms giving them the proper curvature in both longitudinal and transverse sections, forming a pew back perfect in curvature and of unequalled strength. When these are designed to be used without cushions the seat bottoms are made “built up" and shape as is shown in '.he cut. When for use with cushions the seat bottoms should be as shown in our No. 83 on preceding page. 24 GLOBE FURNITURE COMPANY, NORTHVILLE, MICH. Infant Pew for Sabbath Schools.
