OUR RULES 
 
 The object or purpose of this corporation is 
 to organize and carry on Christian Missionary 
 work in the United States and foreign coun¬ 
 tries; to spread the gospel in accordance with 
 the precepts of Christ and his Apostles and to 
 promote a true, Christianlike, social and relig¬ 
 ious life between its churches, congregations 
 and members thereof; to organize, build and 
 support churches; to educate and ordain Min¬ 
 isters of the Gospel and to appoint Mission¬ 
 aries and assign thereto duty, and recall, and 
 remove them when necessary; to purchase or 
 receive by gift or grant, title to such lands or 
 other property as be necessary to enable it to 
 build and maintain churches, schools of learn¬ 
 ing, and for charitable and benevolent pur¬ 
 poses, but not for pecuniary profit.

 All traveling Missionaries and Ministers’ 
 Certificates must be signed by the President 
 and Secretary of this Denomination. 
 
 A missionary must in all circumstances 
 have his appointment paper signed by the 
 elder of that church to which he belongs or

by some other elder who is personally ac¬ 
 quainted with him before he sends his paper 
 to the President or Secretary for their signa¬ 
 ture.
