In Witness Whereof, we, the incorporators above named, have hereunto set our hands and seals, this lath day of May, one thousand nine hundred and ten. (Duly signed and acknowledged). Filed July 1 8th, 1910, in the Office of Clerk of New York County, N. Y. '5 It is believed that the method of research and conference hereby pro- posed for approaching this great sub- ject will commend itself to earnest- minded men and women, and that a large and sufficient endowment will be forthcoming to ensure the con- tinuity and permanence of the work, which must be one of patient growth, requiring years to mature, and being at the outset largely informal and inconspicuous. A lay member of the Foundation generously promised to bear all the initial expenses to the extent of ten thousand dollars. The office provides ample accom- modation for meetings, a library and the filing of records. The Secretary, the Rev. Dr. Lowndes, may be addressed at his office, 143 East 37th Street, New York. He will gladly furnish any further information. EDWIN S. GORHAM, PUBLISHER 37 EAST 28TH STREET NEW YORK
