 The increasing demand for these plates for installation in all 
 forms of modern construction work is due to their characteristic 
 features and design. They condjine an attractive appearance 
 and non-slip surface, patterns being standard and uniform in 
 size and shape. They do not break like cast iron and are unex- 
 celled where a secure foothold is desired. 
 
 “A.^ .” Rolled Steel Floor Plates are rolled from Open Hearth 
 Steel especially adapted for this purpose, in our own plants, 
 from raw material to finished product. They are furnished in 
 .” Diamond Pattern and “A,^ ." Ribbed Pattern, as illus- 
 trated on page 4.

 variation depends upon thickness, width and length. 
 
 Yi hen so specified on order, the variation in shearing may he 
 kept under rather than over. 
 
 Extra for Special Shearing. Shearing variations may he 
 minimized by ‘’’Special Shearing” at a reasonable charge. 
 
 "Special Sheared'^ Floor Plates are furnished with a total varia- 
 tion of M A which may he over or under, as preferred, or from /4 ' 
 over to ys" under, making total of 34”. These variations are based 
 on normal dimensions and may be exceeded, depending on width, 
 length and thickness.
