A. 23 PARQUETRY^.^ Patrous desiring special designs to correspond and harmonize with Moorish, Japanese, Persian, Roman, or Greek Decorations, Can, by giving us full description of the interior furnish- ings, with floor measurements, be offered special floors to suit each room. Rugs are now being used extensively on account of their healthfulness and convenience in keeping a room clean and free from dust. Our thin wood floors, being of the same thickness, are used to great advantage in making handsome borders and filling up all the offsets. By arranging the Wood Border to cover 20" to 36", the furniture can be placed around the room so that a large rug in the center can be easily removed for cleaning. We invite correspondence with parties who are con- sidering the question of building a new residence or remod- eling an old one. Also with those who are called upon to face the demand of what kind of floor coverings they will buy to replace the worn out carpets. Our floors are permanent and will last a life-time. Our location in the center of the finest hardwood district of this country, enables us to serve our patrons to their ad- vantage in quality of woods and prices charged. We have our own extensive whole.sale hardwood lumber dealing as a factor in producing our high grade of work, and can guarantee all we claim for it. This book has been prepared with great care and expense, but it fails to represent, as all pictures must, the beauty of the natural woods when arranged in design and polished. The beauty is iu the finished surface and can not be shown on paper. The floors are more beautiful than any picture can be made For healthfulness and cleanliness they are recommended by all leading medical and sanitary experts.
