DIRE BISAU TIES, BEING A COLLECTION OG PEGIAENS Olea. MONUMENTAL MARBLE DESIGNS FROM THe Georeia M\ARBLE FINISHING WORKS. CANTON, GA. Entered according to act of Congress by The Georgia Marble Finishing Works, Canton, Ga., 1899, in conformity with the laws of the United States respecting copyrights. THE FOOTE & DAVIES CO., PRINTERS ATLANTA, GA. THE Wuy oF IT! E PRESENT herewith our trade Catalogue for 1899, and thanking the trade at large for the magnificent support accorded us, assure you, that with enlarged facilities for the economical production of sawed and finished work on a large scale, we are better prepared than ever before to meet your demands promptly. We are known locally in Georgia, and widely elsewhere, as the most successful concern in the wholesale business. Why ? First, because our principle is to supply monumental work just as good as can be made. We don’t believe in skimping, trashy work. We make our monuments of selected stock, well finished—just as you would make them for yourselves, if you had the time. That’s half the reason why. SECOND, because we have the advantage of professional skill and experience, of locality and of ownership in some of the most popular marbles, Hence a selling that has never been equaled since South- ern marble became an article of commerce. TERMS. Ist. Settlements are required within 30 days from date of invoice—by cash less 3 per cent.—or by satisfactory bank note, of even date with invoice, in full at 3 months, with exchange on New York in either case; otherwise bills may be treated as due from date of invoice and subject to sight draft. 2d, All claims for errors tn measurement or for unsound- ness must be made within 20 days from receipt of the marble, and no charge for work on defective marble will be allowed. 3d. All marble carefully loaded on cars free of charge is a delivery to the purchaser. The railroad company’s receipt shall be sufficient evidence of such delivery. 4th. A discount of 5 per cent. will be given on ca7-load lots of 24,000 pounds or more in ove order—this to be deducted from the invoice, 5th. All new customers, of whose responsibility we are not advised, will please give reference at the time of giving their orders. FREIGHT. Unless otherwise directed, we ship all marble at ‘‘owner’s risk released, ’’ valuation restricted and subject to the Official Freight Classification, In consideration of the above and the fact that the purchaser gets the benefit of the low rates thus secured, all marble delivered to the railroad in good order will be considered as delivered to the purchaser and at his risk, Should overcharges occur, and you desire us to assist in col- lecting the same, please send the original paid freight bill and bill of lading. PHOTOGRAPHS. We supply superb photographs of all our designs by mailat 5 cents each, or $2.50 per dozen, We mount these photographs on linen when desired, and bin ' in strong leather covers at a cost of $1.50 for binding. In this form they are most durable and convenient. Please send cash with order, as the amount is too small for collection. These are not the ordinary photographs the trade is in the habit of using, but are the BEST MADE IN THE UNITED STATES, AND WILL SELL GOODS. FINE POLISHED SAMPLES OF MARBLE. By mail, 25 cents each. Strong leather sample case, velvet-lined, containing four finely polished samples of Marble, $3.00 cash with order. Every dealer should have one of these sample cases.
