Most people will be \ enabled to make their selection from this 4 list, but should you not be able to do so, §} kindly indicate to us your desires, giving ees Y \ u§ an idea of what you want, and we will = be pleased to send you other designs. Large Monuments are not shown to advantage in this Catalogue; hence we put very few cuts of same in it. Don’t forget we handle them nevertheless. That is our specialty. We are putting up large Monuments in nearly every part of the State as well as adjoining States. So if you want a large monument in either marble or granite, kindly state to us your preference, or give an idea of what is wanted, and we will forward large designs, of which we have a very handsome line; or, if you so prefer, we would be pleased to call on you in person. Our Customers will be found in all parts of North Carolina, and in nineteen other States, to whom we will be pleased to refer you. We feel perfectly willing that a generous and liberal public shall be judge of our work- manship and of our capacity to please them by what our patrons say of the work we have executed for them. Advertisements. A pleased customer is the best ad- vertisement, and we think we have as many “walking ad- vertisements” in our customers—standing advertisements in our work—as any in the trade. We prefer selling a job for $100 and have a well-pleased customer, rather than one for $200 and not have him pleased. Prices. In some instances our prices may seem higher than those quoted by other firms, but when you take into consideration the grade of material and workmanship that we use they are really lower. We use only the best mate- rial, both in Marble and Granite, that can be gotten from the quarries, and our workmanship is the highest class pos- sible. Whether you use Marble or Granite, you want the best—free from sap, iron, cracks, and all other imperfec- tions, most of which do not develop until after the work has been put up, and can not be detected beforehand ex- cept by experts. We thoroughly examine each piece of work before it leaves our place. We get the advantage of car-load discounts and freight rates which enables us to pay the freight without extra cost to our customers. 4%, COOPERS GH N.C.
