The Teacher's Normal Course is especially for those who propose to become teachers. These three courses meet the needs of students generally. EXPENSES WE know of no other school that offers like advan- takes for the same low rates that prevail at Whit- sett. Board is good and plentiful, and the rooms are all convenient and well furnished. Students may have single rooms, or may go in with a roommate as they prefer. The school year continues for nine months ; four months for the Fall Term, and five months for the Spring Term. Total cost for board, tuition, fuel, lights, and everything for the entire year will run from $150 to $225, depending upon room selected, etc. Students who are not in school for the entire year are charged only for the time spent in school. MILITARY TRAINING WHITSETT is not a strictly military school, but to meet the demands from many patrons there will be optional military training for all the student body free of any additional charge. Those who desire to take this special training will be given regular instruc- tion and training in military tactics under the super- vision of a competent instructor. This is not compul- sory, but has been added to meet the wishes of those who desire this special training. It will not interfere with regular school hours. WHAT ABOUT PROSPECTS? WE are asked this question every day. Let us say this : Whitsett Institute was established in 1888. It has a successful record of twenty-nine years, with several thousand students. It is well known over this and other states. Last year was a successful year, with a graduating class of twenty-two from sixteen dif- ferent counties. All indications point to a successful year beginning August 29th, 1917. People seem to realize that they cannot afford to neglect education. Because a large part of the world is at war we must not neglect our young men and young women. Our schools must be kept open. From all information now in hand we look with confidence for our thirtieth year to be a good one from all standpoints. WILL YOU SUCCEED? WHITSETT INSTITUTE points with much pride to the remarkably fine record made by graduates and students. Consult the Catalogue and you will find that our students are to be found in leading positions everywhere. Be careful in your choice of a school. The school you select will have much to do with your success in after life. Make no mistake. Trust to no experi- ments, but give the matter very careful thought. You cannot do better than to enter at Whitsett, where so many have been prepared for successful lives for over a quarter of a century. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED AT many places you are required to enter for the full ^ school year, and are charged for the entire time. We have always been so sure of giving satisfaction to our student body that we have always permitted our students to enter school at any time and pay only for the time here. When they come they remain, and in the few cases where for any reason they wish to withdraw from school, we permit them to do so without question. This certainly shows that we have faith in our own work, and feel that we can hold all reasonable students.
