PREPARED SENSITIVE PAPER, For Copying Drawings : To use the Sensitive Paper, first procure a printing frame, lay the drawing faoe down upon the glass, on which place the Sensitive Paper, prepared side down, then several thicknesses of cotton flannel for a pad ; if on turning the frame over any wrinkles appear open the hinged back and place a piece of paper in order to press them out (this should be done in a darkened room), then expose to the sun- light for five or ten minutes, depending on the clearness of the day, remove and examine in a dark room by opening the back of the frame, if the lines are slightly turned in color it has been done properly, remove it and wash in clear water with two or three changes, then dry it.
