Resolved, That our senators in Congress be instructed, and our rep- resentatives be requested, to vote against the admission of Kansas into the Union under the Lecompton constitution. Resolved, That the secretary of state be, and he hereby is, instructed to transmit a copy of the above resolution to each of the members of Congress from this State immediately after its passage.
