It is now a well established fact that man produces nothing that is perfect in the beginning, and the Review is no exception to the rule. We have labored hard to make the first number what you see, but we have learn- ed enough to make many improvements in future, and shall not say fail until we have succeeded in making it a complete record of important events that may trans- pire throughout the County. To this end we ask the co-operation of all who may appreciate our efforts in this direction. The value of the work as a reference book can scarcely be estimated, and we think we can safely guarantee that those who become subscribers will ap- preciate the work more the longer they take it. With these few remarks we enter upon the work before us, feeling that we shall have the support of all the good citizens of Delaware County. Respectfully, A. C. STOUDER. 8 STOUDER'S COUNTY REVIEW.
