The Club is located at No. 12 West Forty-fourth Street, in the heart of the club and theatre dis- trict of the city. The rooms are on the ground floor of the Mansfield, one of the best bachelor apartment hotels in the city. Special club rates have been arranged. An at- tractive dining room, where an ex- cellent dinner is served from six to eight o'clock at seventy-five cents per plate, is reserved for the Club members and their friends. The Brown Daily Herald and other Brown literature, as well as the current weekly and monthly period- icals, are on file at the Club. Wednesday evening of each week is " Club Night "; the members of the House Committee are always at the Club on that evening and it is 5 especially desired that as many members of the Club as possible should arrange to dine there on Wednesday nights or to drop in during the evening. A Reception or Smoker is held at least once a month during the winter, at which there is always singing, speaking, refreshments and special enter- tainment. A fine squash court located in the building is open to Club mem- bers at a nominal rate. Brown men residing in Provi- dence or other cities, who occasion- ally visit New York, will find the Club advantageous, as it is situ- ated only two blocks from the Grand Central Station, and is a very convenient place to stay while in New York, or at which to make appointments to meet friends. Ar- rangements have been made where- by two suites of rooms in the Mans- field, each consisting of a parlor, 6 bedroom and bath, have been re- served for Club members at a spe- cial rate of $2.00 a day. Requests for rooms should be addressed, Manager, The Mansfield, 12 West 44th St., New York City. The Club is an organization that should appeal to every Brown man who still retains an active interest in his Alma Mater and believes in keeping up friendships formed in college. The officers feel that the Club can be made of great value to the University and are desirous that every man in New York, who has been at any time a student, or connected with the Faculty, at Brown, should be a member.
