The toils, the fiery rain of shot They faced ivitti courage Mind? Shall those who helped to save the land Unhonored stand to-day? Shall men of that heroic band' For our poor homage pray ? Shall we forget those cots of pain ? The marches long and drear? 'J^'eath burning sun or pelting rain When gone seemed ev'ry cheer? Shall IV e forget those others too ? Who silent 'round us stand?
