Instituted in 1791. PRINTED FOR THE CLUB 1877. k I'V j y^ University Press: Welch, Bigelow, & Co., Cambridge. ■^ fl/ The " Porcellian Club " was instituted in 1791, and the " Order of the Knights of the Square Table " in 1809. On the 31st of March, 1831, the objects and interests of the two societies having long been identical, and a strong desire existing in favor of an alliance, they were united into one Association, under the name of the " Poecellian Club." In accordance with an agreement entered into by the two Asso- ciations at the time of their union, a Catalogue is issued every few years of all the members of both clubs since their foundation. The present catalogue contains the additions only to the library since 1867, but the full list of members down to the present date. Until the year 1833, the books and relics deposited with the Association were kept in the Librarian's room. The collection then becoming too large and valuable to be left in this state of insecurity, the Association obtained a lease of the rooms which they still occupy. These rooms are now open at all hours for the use of members. PoECELLiAN Cltjb-Rooms, June, 1877. ABBREVIATIOIS'S. G, MH. . . . . Grand Marshal. B. M'L .... Deputy Marshal. Tr, ... . . . Trustee. G.
