No. 239 is one of our Best Styles for Carriage Gate and Side Entrance, and when made of 5-lGths Round Iron, cannot be surpassed for Strength or Beauty. This fence is particularly adapted to enclosing Farms, Lawns, Game Parks and Sheep enclosures ; for protection to hedges and construction of Summer Houses, Trellises, Henneries, Chicken Coops, &c, &c 3 and for all places where the requisites are Strength, Closeness, Portability, Elegance, Cheapness, and Durability. It is Fire, Wind and Flood Proof, is not an obstruction to drifting snow, as it offers but little surface to be acted upon by the wind, is easily put up on small posts and can be removed or transported at will without injury. It is especially adapted to sections of country where timber is procured with difficulty. The wire being galvanized, renders it entirely free from the action of the weather, so that it cannot rust. For many years the inventive genius of the country lias sought to produce an article for the Exclusion of Insects from our houses, which would at the same time admit the air freely, be sufficiently durable to Resist the Attacks of our Climate, present an Ornamental Appearance, and which could be furnished at a Price sufficiently Low to meet the wants of the people. The popular demand for a durable and Cheap Fly and Musquito Screen has been very great, and is constantly increasing. That this will continue to be the casejthere is no doubt, as the American people are adopting, to a greater extent every year, all those improvements in Household Furniture which tend to make home comfortable and pleasant.
