Settled on a farm in Holmes County, Ohio, where K- lived till about [863, when he moved on a farm in St. Joseph County, Ind., where he lived till date of death, Jan- uary 20, 1S75. First wife, Rebecca I'hil- Idyj August 20, 1806 ; November 30, 1S65. PETER LONGENECKER. Born August 7, iSoa, on the parental homestead near Masontown, Fayette County, Pa.; February 2, 1.N30, married to Elizabeth Shank. For a few years fanned for his lather ; about 1833 received deed for the homestead. February 6, 1S35, sold farm to Joseph Longanecker, a cousin ; bought and settled on a farm near Wines- ■ , Holmes County, Ohio. Died August 27, 1866. Remains rest beside those of his parents.
