Cost. $200,000. INTERIOR OF CATHEDRAL The nave has a length of 125 feet and the transept 96 feet. It contains 2,500 sittings. ST. JOSEPH'S CHURCH (CATHOLIC) Located on Ten Broeck Street. Dedicated May 13, 1860. ST. PETER'S CHURCH (EPISCOPAL) Situated on State Street. Consecrated Oct. 4, 1860. s??r"^" This splendid institution is considered one of the finest hospital buildings in the world, and contains 140,000 square feet of floor space. Cost over $300,000. ALBANY CITY HOSPITAL It is built on the pavilion plan. The hospital covers ten acres of ground NORMAL COLLEGE This college, founded in 1844, was the first normal school to be established in the State of New York. The fine college building is located on Willett Street, near Madison Avenue, and facing Washington Park. It will accommodate six hundred and seventy pupils and cost, exclusive o*^ furnishings, about $140,000. ST. AGNES' SCHOOL St. Agnes' School was founded by Bishop Doane in 1870. The school buildings now consist of a large main structure, the East Wing, the Studio Building, Gymnasium and Graduates' Hall. Erected at a cost of $50,000.
