THE EUREKA LOZENGE MANUAL. THE EUREKA LOZENGE -1 FOE THE RELIEF OF Coughs, Colds, Hoarseness, Sore Throat and Inflammation or Irritation of the Bronchial Tubes. It is not claimed for these Lozenges that they will cur^ Consmnptioiif Uronchitis, and such organic diseases, but simply relieve the throat organs when irritated or inflamed from the result of over-use or cold. Many other preparations now in use are exhilarating and stimulating in their character and give temporary relief to the throat, but, by constant use, become injurious. The Eureka Lozenges contain neither opium, cubebs, cayenne or other substance calculated to produce this effect, but are prepared from harmless materials, are pleasant to the taste and can be used freely without iear of injury. They are especially recommended to Singers, Clergymen and other public speakers. o Prepared by CHAS. L. GUxVN, New York City, AND SOLD BY , CHAS. N. CRITTENTON, 7 SIXTH AVE., NEW YORK. And by Retail Druggists generally. I THE ETIRBKA LOZENGE MANUAL. ATTENTION IS RESPECTFULLY CALLED TO THE FOLLOWING TESTIMONIALS: New York, March 10, 1874. Chas. L. GtJNN, Esq., Dear Sir: — Many thanks for the box of " troches " you gave me. I found them exceedingly soothing to the throat and readily controlling the soreness and slight hacking coiigh, so common from simple catarrhal irritation. They are the best of all the numerous varieties of troches I have seen intended for this purpose. Very truly, EGBERT GUERNSEY, M. D., No. 18 West 23d Strett. New York, May i, 1874. My Dear Sir :— Your "Eureka Lozenges " have been the best throat soothers that I have yet tried. I carry them with me as a constant preparative to public speaking, I am disposed to echo the Archimedian name you give them. HOWARD CROSBY, Pastor 4th Avenue Pres. Church. New York, May 29, 1874. My Dear Sir: — I have used all sorts of troches for my throat, which has been a seri- ous trouble to me for the last few years. When you handed me yours I had doubts. Having used them for three months, my doubts are gone. I like them better than any I have used, and hope you will keep me con- stantly supplied. Very sincerely, GEO. H. HEPWORTH, Pastor Church of the Disciples. New York, October 8, 1874. My Dear Sir :— I have used the " Eureka Lozenge," and prefer them to all others. Yours truly, ROBERT RUSSELL BOOTH, Pastor University Place Pres. Church, THE EUEEKA. LOZENGE MANTJATi. Rutherford Park, N. J., Dec. 18, 1874. f My Dear Sir :— I have used a great variety of troches within the past fifteen years, and I consider the "Eureka," from my experience of its efficacy, the best of them all. Yours sincerely, (Eev.) HERMAN C. RIGGS. Milbrook, New York, Dec. 18, 1874. Dear Sir :— Since your "Eureka Lozenges " were brought to my notice, I have usrd them in preference to any others, even to the simple Chlorate of Potash which I have employed for years. I find them beneficial, and like them very much. Very truly yours, (Rev.) HENRY N. COBB. New York, Dec. 16, 1874. Dear Sir: — Having used your Lozenge for several months, I have found it an ex- cellent article, and very soothing to the throat organs. Yours truly, RICHARD J. THORNE, Pres't, N. Y. Equitable Insurance Co. Geneva, N. Y., Dec. 20, 1874. Dear Sir :— I found your Eureka Lozenge a great relief from Hoarseness, and without them on one occasion could scarcely have used my voice. W. HOGARTH, Pastor 2d Pres. Church, Geneva, N. Y. Mechanics' National Bank, 33 Wali, Stkeet, Chab. L. Gunn, Esq., New Yoke, March 2d, 1874. Dear Sir:— Of the Eureka Lozenge I can truly say that for throat complaints they ^ are simply wonderful, producing almost instant relief every time they are used. I have given them to friends and they invariably say that the " troches " do all that you claim for them. Yours, &c., J. O. BLAIR. National Boabd of Fibe Underwritebs. Chab. L. Gunn, New York, December 1, 1876. Dear Sir: — I take great pleasure in commending your Eureka Lozenges, having found them of great efficacy on many occasions.
