Larkin PREFATORY NOTE This book was compiled in the hope that it might be of use to the American autograph collector, for a convenient pocket reference as to the names of the members of the early congresses of this country, date and length of their terms, with the States which they represented, and other data. The lists are all complete with the exception of the Continental Congress. As many members did not attend, it is almost impossible to furnish a perfect list. Careful investigations discover new names from time to time. It is believed that this book contains the names of all who are known to have been chosen.
