It was ordered of the Master by the Monks of the Church of St. Jerome, of Lucca, in Tuscany ; it passed into the possession of Prince Baciocchi, and then into that of the Queen of Etruria. The Suite of Pictures from the Justiniani Palace, comprising the three Caracci and Gerard de la Notte, having been sold, will only remain at this Gallery until the end of the present month of July. The size of this Gallery not permitting that all the pictures of this Collection should be exhibited together, those which cannot now be brought forward may be seen by application to Signor Galvani, who is encharged with the Sale by private contract of all the pictures in this Gallery.
