YEREIN FUR KUNST UND WISSENSCHAFT (GERMAN ATHENiEUM). 51, MORTIMER STREET, W. A selection of Carl Haag's Watercolour Paintings, Studies, and Sketches, illustrative of his artistic career from an early period to the present time. On view during the week, from Monday, the 6th, till Saturday, the 11th of March, between the hours of 10 and 5. March, 1876. Z/6'8- //SJ PREFACE The present Exhibition is open for the whole week, commencing Monday, March 6th. Clause 4 of the Rules, permitting the introduction by Members of but one friend, is suspended for that time, and every Member may obtain from the Steward a limited number of invitation forms for his family and friends. At the same time, the Council have availed themselves of the privilege appertaining to them of inviting inspection from a few lovers of Art, beyond the circle of the German Athenaeum. For this reason it may not be out of place to preface our small catalogue with a few explanatory remarks. The present is the Thirty- sixth in the series of Monthly Exhibitions organized by that section of our Society, which is devoted exclusively to Painting and Sculpture. But, while all the former Exhibitions have been on view for one evening only, the great liberality with which the owners of Carl Haag's Pictures have responded to our appeal, made it appear desirable in the present instance to extend the time over a whole week. //&€> Z/6-, 7 CATALOGUE.
