Orders given for any lots, will be attended to, and faithfully executed by M. GE/i^O^^, Auctioneer, Si, Molesworth-street. t* TO THE PUBLIC. M. Gernon begs leave to remark, that the present Collection, however amply entitled by its merits, has, by its magnitude and numbers, completely precluded him the possibility of attempting a Catalogue Raisonne. To those who have seen the matchless Cuyp's, the exquisite Gerhard Dow's, the Jan Steen's, Rembrandt's, d^c. &c. any eulogium must be wholly superfluous. It may, nevertheless, be fairly stated, that, for advan- tageous purchase and fortunate speculation, the occurrence of a similar oppor- jl unity must, in the ordinary course of things, be a very rare occurrence indeed.
