The following is a list of the dates and totals: November eighteenth, 1922 $12,966.50 April twentieth, 1923 24,619.50 November sixteenth, 1923 29,671.00 April eleventh, 1924 33,021.00 November twelfth, 1924 61,374.00 April third, 1925 41,146.50 November fifth, 1925 15,999.50 Departing from my usual custom of having two sales yearly, I am offering to the public a January sale of fine Early American furniture. As the catalogue will show the quality of this sale is equal to that of my November sale although the quantity is not nearly as great. In fact many of the pieces were intended for that sale but were held over at the last moment. Among the many choice pieces are a handsome threepart dining table of unusually eraceful proportions, an inlaid Hepplewhite sideboard with china cabinet top, an important carved walnut highboy of Savery type which originated in Jersey. There are also handsome and rare cabi- nets, chests-on-chests, sets of Chippendale mahogany chairs, and Spanish-foot pieces. Any restorations that have been made have been done con- scientiously and with true regard for original lines. I wish to state, as before, that I guarantee every piece to be genuine as described. I shall also be glad to execute minor repairs for my New York clients.
