The number of Indians in 1861, as per report of Com- mis&ioner of Indian Aftbirs, was 1512, which, at $53 33 each, makes thelund - $80,634 96 Interest upon this fund, at 6 per cent., for four years, from January I, 1861. to January I, 1364, inclusive, at $d,8.>8 liu per annum, - - - $19,352 36 which last sum is the amount required.
