 A. BILL 
 
 Declaring the mode of ascertaining the value of the tithe deliverable 
 to the Government under existing laws. 
 
 1 The Congress of the Confederate States of America do enacts That 
 
 2 in case of disagreement between the assessor and tax payer as 
 
 3 to the value of the tithe deliverable to the Government under 
 
 4 existing laws, said value is to be assessed and ascertained by dis- 
 
 5 interested freeholders of the vicinage in the same manner as ie 
 
 6 estimated the amount of the crops or articles subject to the tax 
 
 7 in kind and said estimate of value thus ascertained is coucluaive 
 
 8 and final.
