M„ has heen directed to es- tablish Ids Head-quarters in the CITY OF LYNCHBURG, for the purpose of procuring a Large Supply of Corn anil Long Forage for the use of the Confederate Service, And has had assigned him the counties aforesaid from which to draw the needed supplies. He appeals, with great confidence, to the patriots of these counties to come forward, immediately, and deliver to him, at his Store-house, in this City, or at such points on the Railroad or Canal, leading to this City, as mav be agreed on.
