As the attempted invasion, however,* though foiled may be renewed, and if successful, impenl the coun- ties of Georgia ad joiaing, and in the neighborhood of the Florida line, His Excellency directs that the militia of the Counties of Ware, Clinch, Lovv?ndes, Derrieu, Colquitt, Thomas, Decatur, Mitchell, Baker, Early and Miller, hold themselves in reariiness to meet imy call upou them for ac- tive service in defence of their homes, that Major General Jones may require, and His Excellency orders and enjoins prompt and lull compliance with, the orders of General Jones in such emergency.
