Goetzel, for Hardee's Rifle and Infantry Tactics. 1 Section I. The Congreits of the Confederate States of Ameiica do 2 enact. That W. J. Hardee,[of Georgia, and S. 11. Gretzel, of Ala- 3 bama, or either of them, are hereby empowered and authorized to 4 enter and secure a copyright for the work entitled " Hardee's 5 Rifle and Infantry Tactics," for their joint benefit, in the form 6 nnd manner now required by existing laws for securing copy- 7 rights, in any District Court of the Confederate States of Amer- 8 ica, and the copyright so entered and secured shall be valid and binding in all respects, in all the courts of the Confederate States, 1 Sec. 2. Br if further enacted, 1'hat said copyright shall take 2 eifect only from the day of the record thereof in.the District 3 Court, and shall continue in force fourteen years from the ap- 4 proval of this act. 4tllt
