A I. G. 0. hereto appended. .__s? II. — All the persons liable to military service, under said Goceral Orders, No. 77, will be delivered at Camp Lee, Richmond, within ten days from the receipt of Conscription Circular, No. 1, if from coun- ties fast of the Blue Ridge, and within fifteen days if from counties west of the Blue Ridge. III. — All furloughs and tempoiary exemptions of whatever kind, heretofore* granted by the Bureau . Conscription, or by any other authority, to persons between the ages of>. 18 and 45 years, are under the orders of the War Department, revoked. IV. — Paragraph 4 of Conscription Circular, No. 1, is amended so a* to read a* foUowe : Enrolling officers are instructed that the annexed orde^^o. 77, revok&g all detail? heretofore granted, either by the War Department, or the Bureau of Conscription— or the officers acting under it, to men between the ages of 18 and 45 years, whether on the g'ound of pnlilic or private necessity; that is to say, details granted to farmers, overseers, millers, blacksmiths, wagon-makert», millwrights, shoema- kers, tanners, and all ether mechanics, and all other persons whomsoever, excepting only that those indi- viduals who are "detailed and ait unity employed as artisans, mechanics and persons of scientific skill (and those detailed and now engaged in the manufacture, collection and forwarding of indispensublo sup- plies for the army and navy) will be continued in their present employments until their respective details are revised." All men between 'he a^es of 18 and 45 years, now applying for details, are also required to be immediately forwarded to the Camp of Instruction at Richmond. V. — Enrolling officers will record and report to the. commandarft of etmseripts, the day, and the hour of the day at which all circulars and orders issued to them from these headquarters arc roceived. All details, heretofore granted, under authority of the War Department, to p< r^ojis between the ages of 18 and 45 years, are hereby revoked ; and all such derailed men, togethef with those within the s;iid apes, who hold fur- loughs or temporary exemptions by reason of pending applications fo[ detail, will be promptly ^ymbled at the Camps of Instruction and appropriately aliened among the armies for lervice ; except that men defied and now actually employed as artiians, mechanics, or persons of scientific skill (aid those detailed and now engaged in the manufacture, collection and forwarding of indispensable supplies for the armyfand navy), will be continued in their present employ- ments until their respective details be revised. II. The Heads of Departments and Chiefs of Bureaux wiH immediately forward to the Generals of Reserves in the several States lists of all detailed men in their employment in the said States, certifying in each case of a person between 18 and 45 years, those who are experts and absolutely indispensable for the public service, specifying the em- ployment of each individual ; and all detailed employees, who are
