Headquarters nxiii iwCitles or Towns, {>^o 00) three dollars per day in lieu of all allowances except their monthly pay. Clerks at Headqnarte.rs ivitli Troops in the Field; and all author- ized Clerks in the Field, ($1 25) one dollar and twenty-five cents per day in lieu of all allowances except pay proper, — or if they prefer it, the pay and allowances of a soldier, and the extra duty pay of 25 cents per day allowed by Regulations. Mechanies of all Classes, irorking at Dcpt. Headquarters-, or in Towns and Cities, $3 per day, in lieu of all allowances except pay proper. Mechanics serving with an Armi/ in the Field, .^1 25 cts. per day, in lieu of all allowances except pay proper — or the pay and allowances of a soldier, and the extra duty pay of 40 cents per diem allowed by Regulations. Wagon-masters, in charge of tiDcntij or more wagons, 82 50 cents. per day, in lieu of all allowances except pay proper, and one Ration per diem. Ass't Wagon- masters in charge of less than twcntij wagons, $2 per day, in lieu of all allowances except pay proper, and one Ration per d\em. To each Train of twenty Wagons, or more, belonging to Depots in Towns and Cities, v/ill be allowed one Wagon-master, and one Ass't Wagon-master. Regimental Trains moving with Troops in the Field, will be under charge of the Quartermaster Sergeant of the Regiment instead of a Wagon-mastei', who will be allowed one extra Teamster to every ten wagons, who will assist him in the discharge of his duties Avith the I'rain.
