 Sis : — I have received the following Resolution of the House of 
 Representatives, adopted on the 25th ult., and referred by your 
 Excellency to this Department for attention : 
 
 *' Resolved, That the President be respectfully requested to fur- 
 nish this House with the number of able-bodied males between the 
 ages of eighteea and forty-five years, claimed to be exempt from 
 conscription Iiy the Governor, laws and resolutions of the State of 
 Georgia.*' 
 
 In response, I have the honor to transmit herewith a report from 
 t'le Sujiorintendent of Conscription containing the inforaiation call- 
 ed for by the House.
