 Regulations to authorize the Depositaries of the Treasu- 
 ry to receive balances in the hands of Post-Masters in the 
 Confederate States. 
 
 All Depositaries of the Treasury are hereby instructed to 
 receive, upon application, any balances remaining in tho 
 hands of Post-Masters throughout the Confederate States on 
 the 31st of March, 30th June and the 31st of December, 1864, 
 isssuing therefor duplicate receipts, and entering same in 
 their regular reports to the Treasury.
