Fay’s Prolific.— Originated in Chautauqua Co., N. Y. A cross between Cherry and Victoria. Of enormous size, fine flavor, and claimed to be twice as prolific as the Cherry. White Grape. — Very large ; yellowish white; sweet, or very mild acid; excellent quailty and valuable for the table. Although this is a foreign variety it has succeeded admirably on our grounds, where it has fruited extensively for several years. We can confidently recommend it, both for the garden of the amateur and the market plantation. The plant is remarkably vig- orous and productive, and the fruit large, beautiful and of excellent quality. Where shoots are left long, they fruit to the very tips. We regard u as, on the whole, the best foreign Gooseberry ever introduced. Regular price 50c. each. % BLACKBERRIES. Snyder.— This is the standard early sort and is very popular. This was the first of the hardy kinds that made a sensation over the country. With good culture they are large enough to gratify the most exact- ing. Like old dog Tray it is ever faithful. The severest frost does not bite it. It will keep the wolf from the door. I have always been an admirer of this staunch old variety. I never saw a rusty cane among it.
